About Us: At the Arcade Lounge, we provide a secure, fun, and exciting environment for our clients and staff in the entertainment industry. We are looking for an experienced and responsible Armed Security Guard to join our team.

Job Overview: The Armed Security Guard will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, staff, and patrons. This position requires vigilance, quick decision-making skills, and a strong commitment to public safety.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Conduct routine patrols around the premises, checking for any signs of disturbance to machines and entry ways.
• Prevent unauthorized access into restricted areas.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Act professionally and calmly in high-stress situations, deescalating conflicts when necessary.
• Prepare detailed reports of any security incidents.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
• Comply with all firearm regulations and store the weapon safely when not in use.
• Participate in regular training to maintain firearm and safety skills.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Class G armed security license and firearm permit.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a security role, preferably in a gaming or entertainment setting.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures.
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
• Skilled in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
• Physical fitness and agility necessary to perform the job is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
