Greenville University seeking a full-time assistant/associate professor with expertise in digital media with specific expertise in graphic and web design. The candidate must possess the abilities to work with multiple digital technologies including design, imaging, video, and animation.

Responsibilities:

Primary teaching responsibilities include graphic design, web design, animation, introduction to digital media, drawing, and other courses within the Digital Media program. Participation in the General Education program is expected. Digital Media faculty are expected to supervise student internships and student projects in the field. Full-time faculty load is twelve credit hours per semester. Other responsibilities will include assisting in recruitment of students, student advisement, and regular participation in institutional committee work and professional development.

Requirements:


The ideal candidate will have an MFA in graphic design, new media, or related discipline. Candidates with experience in the field are preferred. Rank is dependent upon qualifications. Applicants must be dedicated to undergraduate teaching and research, have a vibrant personal Christian faith commitment, and a desire to serve as a role model for students in a Christian academic community.

Compensation:

Salary is based on academic preparation and years of relevant experience. The University also provides a generous benefits package that includes health, disability, and retirement plans, as well as a tuition waiver for dependents at Greenville University and a tuition exchange program with 75+ other Christian institutions.
