Assistant Director of Recruitment Outreach
Job description
This position is responsible for developing compelling, timely, and targeted communications plans that serve, engage, and cultivate leads, prospective students, and applicants over multi-year customer journey. They are also the primary point of contact for external partners, including key colleges and feeder schools, promoting NUNMs programs, aligning pre-requisites, and paving the way for future articulation agreements and MOUs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Thoroughly understand NUNMs offerings, degree programs, and the student experience.
2. In consultation with the Assoc. VP of Marketing and Enrollment, develop and manage a measurable recruitment plan that includes colleges, universities, community groups, and/or other pre-health organizations interested in natural medicine, and which fully and appropriately leverages the NUNM community (faculty, students and alumni).
3. Implement streamlined, audience-specific communications plans across paid and owned channels to develop relationships with and drive engagement among leads, prospective students, applicants and admitted candidates.
4. Pull accurate and targeted lists from CRM for email marketing, texting, and other campaign components.
5. Develop a relationship development strategy with pre-health advisors and other community groups or pre-health organizations.
6. Develop and cultivate relationships with key personnel at targeted colleges and universities with the goal of aligning their curriculum with our pre-requisites and/or establish a foundation for articulation agreements.
7. Research and understand regional awareness of natural medicine and implement a communications strategy to educate and inform the public on NUNMs degree programs and the field of natural medicine.
8. Collect data on and evaluate plan effectiveness through surveys, focus groups, and matriculation rate and track prospect engagement in CRM.
9. Assist the Associate VP of Marketing and Enrollment and Marketing and Communications Manager in coordinating and implementing assigned aspects of admissions marketing and outreach and be responsible for researching and drafting recruitment material for prospective NUNM students.
10. Facilitate the production of print and digital promotional materials (viewbook, table-top displays, QR codes, etc.)
11. Facilitate opportunities for clinical students seeking Community Education credit, overseeing the Student Ambassador program and helping place students at community fairs and outreach events throughout the year.
12. Manage communications plans within the CRM (Radius).
13. Manage texting tool (Mongoose Cadence).
14. Develop website content for Admissions pages (Wordpress).
15. Serve as a liaison to the Office of Student Life.
16. Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with FERPA and other federal and state laws.

$65,000 - $68,000 per year base salary

This in-person position will be based at our campus in Portland, Oregon.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university with 2-4 years experience in admissions, recruitment, marketing, or non-profit audience development.
Demonstrated experience using robust CRM to drive data-informed decisions.
Experience with Wordpress and social media a plus.
