We're looking for a passionate, hands-on leader to partner with the owners and General Manager in the operation and growth of Dilworth Car Wash ("DCW").
The Assistant Manager ("GM") will report to our General Manager and help oversee daily operations including staffing, equipment maintenance, customer satisfaction, basic financial reporting, marketing, and growth initiatives. We are excited to find somebody eager to grow a local, small business and are happy to invest in his or her development. Limited financial and corporate experience is OK, but the AM will need excellent interpersonal skills to succesfully work with customers and team members.
Over time, we hope to promote the AM to a General Manager and increase his or her managerial scope to include other locations / operations across Charlotte and the greater Carolinas.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure DCW remains the most popular full service car wash in the South End, Uptown, Dilworth, Myers Park, Eastover area through rigorous quality control and a customer-first culture
- Be a player-coach, working as cashier when needed and on customer vehicles including prep, hand washes, and details
- Retain (and invest in) existing team members. Hire new employees as needed
- Help facilitate regular equipment inspections (and repairs, as needed)
- Help manage all other daily operations (e.g., chemical ordering and competitive bidding)
Compensation will include a base salary, health insurance, and an incentive plan.

Pay: $42,000.00 per year
