Job Summary:
The Anderson College of Business and Computing is a pioneer in adult and online education. Our Graduate Business Programs offer a MS in Organizational Leadership, an NACC-accredited Masters of Non Profit Management, and multiple MBA programs (a traditional online MBA with seven specializations including a Make-Your-Own specialization, and our new GAC-accredited Project Leadership and Management MBA and Human Resource Management MBAs that launch this fall). And our college is currently in the process of seeking AACSB Accreditation.

Our students are mostly working adults returning to change the directions of their lives (e.g., get promoted, start businesses, change roles and companies) and are always people that want to experience support, challenge, and growth. We are busy here. We are looking to improve our existing online programs and will be building and delivering a full-time, day time MBA in the near future.

The Anderson College of Business and Computing at Regis University in Denver, Colorado invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor to teach in the area of management and/or leadership to begin in Fall of 2023. The selected candidate is expected to teach six courses (18 credits) each academic year.

Successful candidates will show potential for excellent teaching and noteworthy scholarship in their discipline. Applicants with knowledge and experience in the areas of management, leadership, organizational behavior, and diversity and inclusion at the graduate level are preferred. Teachers and scholars who are puzzling over the future of business and of business education are encouraged to apply.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary Duties
  • Design, develop, and teach courses in our graduate programs, especially in the MBA and Organizational Leadership programs.
  • Help design and help to lead new full time, daytime New and Emerging MBA.
  • Work with colleagues to explore what a more holistic adult education model can look like by considering how to best implement tools/activities like workshop series and events for MBA and MSOL students.
  • Maintain currency in the field of management and/or leadership through scholarship such as peer-reviewed publications, presenting at conferences, and other scholarly activities. Candidates should meet Scholarly Academic expectations of the college.
  • Conduct service to the college and university which includes supporting students, building external connections, and committee work.
  • Conduct service to the community, profession and/or discipline which may include serving on editorial boards, participating in industry groups, and being a journal reviewer.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
  • Qualified candidates will have a PhD in management or leadership or a related field, preferably from an AACSB-accredited school.

Experience:
  • A research agenda that demonstrates currency in the discipline.
  • Evidence of community building and engagement in designed and taught courses in management, leadership, and/or organizational behavior courses.
