The Key Program in Worcester, MA is currently seeking two (2) Assistant Program Supervisors. One for a short term, emergency residence group home and the other is for a longer-term intensive residential group home. Each program serves up to nine (9) adolescents involved with the MA Department of Children and Families (DCF). The Assistant Supervisor assists the Program Supervisor in the areas of program administration, client and family services, and staff training.

Wage/Salary Benefits Include:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a human service related field
  • 1- 3 years of direct care experience minimum
  • All candidates must be 21 years of age or older
  • Possess a valid state driver's license; have a legally registered and insured car for work use
  • Ability to work a varied schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays that may exceed 40 hours per week
  • Participation in a regional on-call system is a requirement

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily program activities and assign responsibilities to caseworker staff
  • Help to ensure clients receive quality services that comply with standards and regulations
  • Develop positive working relationships with funding sources and all other collaterals
  • Assist in the training and orientation of new staff
  • Assist to prepare staff schedules
  • Ensure appropriate staff-to-client ratio and provide direct care when needed
  • Ensures implementation and adherence to health and safety policies and procedures
  • Attend and participate in regional supervisory meetings
  • Participate in the regional on-call system
