MHA of Columbia Greene is seeking a Assistant Project Manager for Greenport Gardens Apartments. Greenport Gardens Apartments is one of the first of its kind, mixed use affordable housing. We provide housing to individuals and families that is affordable and safe. Greenport Gardens is comprised of 65 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. There are 38 units for our mental health residential programs with varying levels of support, and 27 open to families in the community that meet requirements. The housing provided, can end up being a change that can help an individual or family flourish, come be part of this. This position is a full time 40 hour per week position with a work schedule of Mon through Fri 9am-5pm, $20.00 per hour. The individual filling this position should be personable, courteous, possess the ability to multi-task, be detail oriented, and maintain strict confidentiality while remaining helpful and welcoming to our tenants, visitors, and staff. Duties include; answering a multi-line telephone phone system and routing calls to appropriate staff members or their voicemails, greet visitors, staff, and tenants with a courteous and helpful attitude, distribute and collect keys and clipboards for agency vehicles, assist the Division Director on a regular ongoing basis with file organization, reporting, projects, spreadsheets, databases, and other duties as assigned while maintaining confidentiality, assist with Tax Credit certification and compliance with other State Agencies, attend staff meetings / attend stakeholder community meetings as needed, prepare reports, Rents, Tax Credit certification paperwork, and assist with budgeting and ordering of materials and supplies. This position requires shared on-call duties during off hours.

Requirements:
- Must have an associate degree in human services or related field, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Must understand HIPAA privacy laws.
- Have knowledge and understanding of Residential Mental Health Services.
- Must have excellent computer, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Should be proficient in Microsoft applications, email, and the ability to adapt and learn other computer programs.
- Must be able to maintain a professional relationship with staff and other providers and interface with other representatives at respective agencies and maintain relationships with them.
- Must become trained and certified in Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) project policies and procedures within the first year of hire. This certification will be paid for by the employer.
All offers are contingent on the candidate’s ability to obtain a Statewide Central Registry and Fingerprint clearance and must have a valid NYS Driver’s License and a clean MVR.
