TRC Advanced Energy (TRC) is a nationally known energy efficiency consultancy. TRC collaborates with clients to develop and implement market transforming programs and initiatives that promote energy efficiency, renewable energy, clean transportation, and decarbonization in multiple market sectors across the US. These initiatives reduce energy costs, improve the health and safety conditions of buildings, while also helping the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. TRC is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Assistant Project Manager to oversee delivery of energy efficiency initiatives primarily serving the energy efficiency and clean energy sectors in New York State. Eligible candidates will be a hands-on, highly skilled resource with a combination of project administration and technical experience. Background in the energy efficiency, energy storage, photovoltaics, distributed energy resources and next generation technologies is critical. TRC seeks an individual with proven success managing a diverse set of responsibilities and with superb communication skills to grow with our company.
The position is located in either New York, NY or Albany, NY.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create and oversee mass stakeholder emails, website updates, program documents, and program presentations from drafting to deployment.
- Draft stakeholder engagement plans for program announcements, milestones, and events, and manage coordination of related workflows with support teams (Communications, Marketing, Events).
- Conduct research on program portfolio metrics and energy storage market/policy developments as needed.
- Address questions from solar/energy storage companies by phone and email.
- Coordinate program team meetings and meeting agendas with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage Energy Storage contracting actions in NEIS.
Minimum and Preferred Qualifications
- Basic familiarity with battery storage and solar PV technologies.
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Ability to conduct spreadsheet analysis using MS Excel.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, ability to write professional and concise emails.
- Well organized, able to work independently, excellent attention to detail, and strong critical thinking skills.
