Freedom Solar Power is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Assistant Regional Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality and efficiency of the residential solar installation process in a designated region. You will work closely with the Regional Manager and a team of technicians to ensure that projects are completed safely, to code, and to the highest level of customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in project management, as well as a strong understanding of photovoltaic systems, energy storage systems and the residential solar market. They should have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong communication and customer service skills are also important, as the Assistant Regional Manager will be responsible for handling customer inquiries and concerns.
Job Duties:
- Managing the resolution of failed inspections and workmanship issues, including coordinating with customers, technicians, and subcontractors
- Serving as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, including managing schedules and ensuring that all work is completed to standards
- Overseeing the pre-installation process for new construction homes, including coordinating with builders
- Providing ongoing training and support to the regional team on safety and best practices
- Monitoring regional production and inspection scheduling to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and on schedule
- Ensuring that all customer systems are functioning properly by supervising the commissioning and inspections processes.
- Overseeing site assessments and the inspections process, including coordinating with customers and technicians to ensure that all necessary information is conveyed
- Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as needed or as directed by management
- Flexibility to take on new tasks and responsibilities as they arise
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree perferred
- 1-2 years prior scheduling/project management experience
- Prior solar/construction experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience with scheduling and dispatching resources is preferred
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office or G Suite
- Familiarity with CRM, EAM, and MRO software tools
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
