The Associate Director/Director, Commercial Data and Analytics will be responsible for leading the strategic plans for Iveric Bio’s commercial data ecosystem and downstream analytics. Importantly, this role will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Market Access to ensure the necessary data are made available to support both strategic and tactical decision making. This role will be critical in ensuring the appropriate systems and data needs are established, manage external support/vendors, and working closely with IT on integration into the enterprise data ecosystem.

This role is hybrid (in office approximately 2 days a week) and will be based in our Parsippany, New Jersey office and reports to the Head of Strategic Insights and Commercial Operations.

Primary Responsibilities

Direct the overall strategy for commercial data ecosystem

Provide oversight of CRM, Customer Master, Data Warehouse, MDM

Provide health checks for current systems and champion solutions

Provide subject matter expertise regarding commercial data, including syndicated, custom, and other sources of required data to ensure performance management

Support the build and management of performance measurement tools; leverage existing data strategies to implement/improve data visualization tools that field personnel will use

Deliver key analytics in Sales Force Effectiveness, including segmentation, customer management and data dashboards

Education/Experience Required

Bachelor’s Degree
7+ years working with data systems and pharma/biotech commercial sales data, including direct and syndicated data
Experience with the buildout of commercial data infrastructure and systems
Broad understanding of Master Data Management
Demonstrated knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableu, PowerBI,) and how to develop performance dashboards (KPI, etc.)
Experience with distribution and product flow
Ability to translate technical terms into easy-to-understand language
