Responsibilities:- Work directly with clients to compile financial profiles that allow you to provide sound financial advice based on each person’s individual financial status, income, financial goals, and other factors contributing to wealth management
- Look for, identify, and secure new clients to serve as a trusted advisor for crucial financial decisions
- Consider clients’ life stage, professional circumstances, and changing financial needs when developing tailored financial plans to suit their needs
- Support clients’ progress toward their financial goals through strategic product, plan, and investment recommendations
- Be a coachable, organized team member interested in pursuing training development and educational opportunities
- Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertising our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies
- Identify new client insurance needs, insurance risk, goals, current coverage, and financial situation by scheduling meetings for new customers, ensuring a personalized experience
- Exemplary math skills, communication skills, and relationship skills to support strong customer service for current and new clients
- Though not required, a valid FINRA Series 7 & 63/66 license is considered a plus
- Working knowledge of financial products, the financial industry, personal financial advisor or responsibilities, or financial planner roles is essential
- Experience working with Microsoft Office, Excel, CRM systems, financial planning software, Google Suite, and other related business or money management tools desired
- A Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or alternate related analytical field is required
- Must have effective relationship management skills
- Required to effectively network to identify potential new clients
- Life, Health, and Series 6 & 7 licenses are preferred, but not required
- The candidate must be an accomplished communicator with strong verbal and written skills
- Prior sales and/or business experience preferred
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong desire to help others
- It is also a plus if you have strong interpersonal management skills, are a self-starter, and are capable of working individually as well as in a team environment
