The Clyde Companies have been around for almost 100 years. Starting off as WW Clyde, the small family run business has now turned into nine separate subsidiaries collaborating on thousands of projects each year. The enterprise is comprised of companies that span from administrative services to insurance and from building materials to construction. Clyde Companies, Inc is the administrative services group that supports the other eight subsidiaries. We are looking for an Associate Financial Analyst who wants to have an impact and join the Clyde family!
The position
As Associate Financial Analyst, you will play an integral role to partner with business operations and provide financial insight through actionable business analytics, business planning (including budgeting and forecasting), and fact-based recommendations that will assist the company in achieving its strategic goals. Under the direction of the Finance Manager or the Senior Financial Analyst, you'll work cross-functionally with a team and with various business units to assist in coordinating, reviewing, consolidating, and completing the planning process for company business partners. Our team is growing, and we want you to be a part of it!
What makes you successful
A successful Associate Financial Analyst needs to have:
- a desire to live and portray the company values,
- a good understanding of financial statements, accounting principles and practices, and financial forecasting,
- ability to effectively communicate financial information and understand the activities of non-financial functions,
- good financial modeling skills, especially in Microsoft Excel,
- an ability to problem-solve and work well under pressure,
- have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
The most successful Senior Financial Analyst at Clyde will:
- have 0-3 years of previous accounting or finance experience (preferred)
