We are looking for a veterinarian to examine, diagnose and treat patients during clinic hours, and to perform routine surgeries, dental cleanings, etc. The hospital has been in business for over 50 years, and we are proud of our excellent reputation in the community. We have deliberately kept the practice size small, so our clients and patients feel confident in entrusting their pets to our clinic family. We have all the usual toys, including digital radiographs, in-house lab, etc. but apart from the usual amenities, we pride ourselves on a practice environment that allows for a comfortable and friendly work experience, and results in an extremely high level of care for the animals for which we are responsible.

We feel strongly that client communication is vital to providing care for the animals both while in the hospital and post-discharge. We pride ourselves on promptly responding to clients' concerns, both in person and by phone or e-mail.

The position entails a 41/2-day work week with no emergency shifts, An emergency clinic is available for after-hours care, and includes a wide variety of specialty clinicians. Benefits include health insurance, retirement program and paid vacation. All professional fees, liability and C.E. stipend are included. Our system allows for excellent mentoring for the new graduate.
Minimum requirements are DVM or equivalent and Maryland licensure, although we would be willing to employ a new graduate on a limited basis until licensure is achieved.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
