ATR Document Coordinator/Records Specialist

Idaho National Laboratory’s (INL) Advanced Test Reactor (ATR) Document Management group is seeking forward-thinking professionals interested in exploring a career as a Document Coordinator/Records Specialist.
Our team works an on-site 4x10 schedule located at our ATR facility with every Friday off!
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide records management and document control services for ATR records and documents, by issuing, reproducing, and distributing documents to requestors.
- Manage drawing systems for active and inactive drawings, consult with ATR staff on proper records management practices, and protect, maintain and transfer long-term records as needed.
- Accurately, completely, and efficiently perform high-volume, detailed functions with a conscientious attitude toward documents and records.
- Perform document and records management tasks of substantial variety and/or complexity and demonstrate a highly-developed knowledge in all aspects of document management.
- Act as recognized source of knowledge for questions and issues dealing with records management and document control.
- Perform work under general supervision while being responsible for overall adequacy and accuracy to accomplish self-initiated and directed tasks. Pursue instruction and guidance for only the most complex tasks.
- Interact with peers at the group level and build and maintain effective customer relationships.
- Identify and assist in resolving problems. Train other staff within and outside of immediate organization.
- While reporting to the ATR Document Management Manager for day-to-day coordination of ATR Operations documents, perform as a peer and quality control check to ensure documents and drawings are the most current revision and are properly printed for use in ATR Operations.
- Maintain compliance with DOE and INL records management objectives, regulations, and practices. Serve as a resource for all ATR organizations for record retention, disposition, storage, and transfer.
- Assist other ATR Document Control personnel in identifying and resolving training/document control deficiencies.
- Maintain and ensure correct disposition of plant records (including executed procedures) in a timely manner.
- Post and maintain all documents and drawings in required manuals. Perform reactor cycle control document (RCCD) and periodic checks, signatures, and tasks in ensuring all drawings are up-to-date.
- Post key drawings and related documentation to provide information used for valve line-ups and lockout/tagouts to ensure availability in the plant including ATRC, NMIS, and support facilities.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent and 4-6 years of relevant experience, such as work in areas of document control and records, working with Microsoft Office, and adhering to schedule requirements and prioritizing work.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
Job Information
- Salary Grade 140 ($39,120 - $62,580) / 150 ($44,004 - $70,392)
