Automotive Customer Service Representative
Job description
The Customer Service Representative you will be taking service-related calls for all our dealerships in a high-volume environment. You will be the first voice for Sheboygan Auto customers calling in to make appointments or ask Service-related questions, so we are looking for a customer service expert to join our team!
Customer Service Duties and Responsibilities
- Promptly and professionally answer inbound calls with the goal of providing an exceptional client experience resulting in a scheduled reservation with the service team, confirming scheduled appointments and rescheduling missed appointments.
- Perform outbound follow-up calls for due and overdue service clients, scheduling calls and any additional outbound calls requested by management.
- Keep current with service updates, including open recalls, specials, direct mail pieces and recall notices from the manufacturer
- Utilize our current software to search for answers to clients' questions prior to transferring the phone call to a Service Advisor.
- All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned
Customer Service Requirements and Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Customer service background
- Strong computer skills (preferably dual screen)
- Desire to develop a solid understanding of product information related to all dealerships, vehicles, and maintenance/repair services provided by service departments
- Previous call center experience a plus
