Job description
POSITION SUMMARY
Act as a liaison between the company and the team of technicians and detailers responsible for the care of the vehicle sales inventory. While monitoring costs, finding savings as applicable, and providing vehicle time estimates to the service team in preparation of unit sales.
POSITION TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct proper estimate of repairs and sourcing of parts both internally and externally
- Conduct assessment of new, used, and aftermarket parts through a variety of vendors
- Assess labor time based upon vehicle discovery by the applicable technician
- Responsible for notifying the internal team of completed repairs and scheduling internal car transportation to applicable lots
- Responsible for working with fleet management and warranty companies and communicating necessary repairs to the applicable representative
- Validate part return and credit completion if part is not used in applicable repair
- Conduct customer follow-up after vehicle repair to ensure customer satisfaction
- Communicate suggested manufacturer maintenance to the customer as dictated by applicable manufacturer
- Maintain work area cleanliness and organization to ensure a safe workspace
- Able to conduct advanced computer use including but not limited to: Microsoft Office, proprietary shop management systems, scanners, copiers, and other office equipment
- Other duties as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Highschool degree or GED preferred but not required
Experience:
- 1-3 years’ service writing experience preferred but not required
- 1-2 years of general automotive knowledge preferred but not required
License(s)/Certification(s):
- Valid Class D driver’s license preferred

Salary: $48,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
