Cheseldine Tire & Auto, an automotive repair company that has been in business in St. Mary's County, MD for over 30 years, is looking for an Automotive Technician and Automotive Apprentice for our California, MD and Leonardtown, MD locations.

Automotive Technician:

Position Description: A bumper to bumper master technician capable of diagnosing and repairing any system of the automobile to the manufacturer's standards without supervision.

--We require a minimum of 5 years previous full-time experience in an auto repair shop

--Commissions are based on a flat rate

--Guaranteed base salary starting at $60,000

--Our current technicians are making $60,000 to $100,000 per year

--$2,000 Signing Bonus

--No warranty work

--Monday through Friday only

Automotive Apprentice:

--We require a minimum of 6 months of tire and lube service experience

--You must have mechanical ability

--You must have a driver's license and your own transportation

--Pay is on an hourly rate based upon your prior experience.

--$1,000 Signing Bonus

--Monday through Friday only

All Positions:

--The position is for full time workers only

--Benefits include: health and dental insurance, paid leave and holidays, health savings card, accidental death coverage of $25,000, and cell phone protection plan

--We will pay for further training

--Our shops are very busy--you must be a hard worker and self-motivated
