Transmission & Automotive Technician for AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care (Spring/Klein/Tomball, TX)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

· Inspect, diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems-engine, transmission, brake, hydraulic, exhaust, steering, suspension, alignment, fuel ignition, electrical, air conditioning and computer systems

· Assist other technicians in performing technical activities

· Explain problems discovered during vehicle inspection to service writers and technicians

· Continuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools and repair techniques

· Professionally record findings so that repair costs are accurately estimated

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Hold a valid driver’s license (required)

· Own tools to diagnose and repair vehicles

· Ability to work with others as a team and independently

· Good communication skills including written and oral

· Must be punctual and bring a positive attitude to work every day

· ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certifications Valued

· Automotive Training School Valued

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
