Growing real estate investing company seeking “Maintenance Technician”.

All properties in Lancaster County

Target Hire Date: June 2023

Compensation: commensurate with experience and skills

Full-time

Mission:

• The mission of the Maintenance Technician is to effectively solve maintenance issues, tenant turnovers and help with property renovations. The Tech will coordinate with the property manager(s) and tenant(s) to efficiently complete repairs.

Major Outcomes:

• Effectively communicate with property managers and tenants to complete repairs and maintenance.
• Accurately track hours and work orders.
• Understand that emergencies may arise in the evenings, on weekends or holidays. Willing and able to respond to emergency and remediate in a timely manner.

Competencies:

• Honesty/Integrity: Does not cut corners ethically. Earns trust and maintains confidences. Does what is right. Speaks plainly and truthfully. Gives honest judgement and opinion on necessary work required for maintenance and improvements.
• Plumbing: Ability to diagnose and repair leaks. Can replace or install new sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, tub surrounds, water heaters, etc. Familiar with plumbing in older properties
• Electrical: Ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues. Repair outlets, breakers or run new electric lines if necessary.
• Carpentry: Ability to repair or install new flooring, primarily but not limited to carpet and vinyl plank. Ability to install cabinets, countertops, doors, windows and appliances.
• Painting: Ability and desire to touch up paint jobs or repaint entire rooms, apartments or houses.
• Roofing: Has basic understanding of roofing and able to patch or make roof repairs. Willing and able to acknowledge if outside scope of abilities and relinquish control to professional roofer
• HVAC: Has basic understanding of HVAC systems and able to replace filters. Willing and able to acknowledge if outside scope of abilities and relinquish control to professional HVAC tech.
• Handyman: Willing and able to do small “handyman” procedures. Such procedures may include but not limited to; install smoke detectors, fix door locks, let tenant in who locked themselves out or completing punch list items
• Enthusiasm: Exhibits passion and excitement over work. Has a can-do attitude and positive outlook on life.
• Attention to Detail: Does not let important details slip through the cracks or derail a project.
• Honoring: Has a high value for people, including supervisors, co-workers, and tenants.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
