It may be difficult to believe today, but our original dealership had just a 3-car showroom, and employed just 9 people. But we grew quickly at Sewickley BMW – in great part because BMW’s philosophy aligned perfectly with our own. BMW was out to build “The Ultimate Driving Machine” and our staff and clients were always on the lookout for “The Ultimate Machines to Drive”. Over the last 30+ years, that’s meant expanding our original 3-car showroom to triple its original size, and expanding our service department to accommodate 7 dedicated BMW Technicians working from 10 work bays today.

• 
  Capable to fault trace and diagnose automotive symptoms and recommend repairs
• Perform maintenance services including annual services, oil changes, brakes, tires, and other needed maintenance items
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
• Learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to keep up with rapidly changing technology
• High Fixed-Right-1st-Time repair rate
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry

TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS:

• Dealership Experience (preferred but not required. Will train the right person)
• Current Drivers License
• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Maintain ASE Certifications
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, A/C equipment, etc
• Strong work ethic
• Position requires that candidate supply his/her own tools
• Great communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check and a drug screen
