Joyce Koons Buick GMC, one of the top Northern Virginia dealerships, is seeking Full-time GMC Service Technicians. We are a progressive, customer-focused automotive retailer and service center located in Manassas, Virginia. We are experiencing growth in our GM service business; therefore we are looking for candidates at the top of their game with a strong track record.

As Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing vehicle repairs and maintenance work as assigned by the ERO dispatch system. All work performed must be in accordance with dealer and manufacturers specification and standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform the repairs and maintenance requested by the customer and listed on the repair order;
• Identify and report any additional needed repairs to the service advisor who will contact the customer for approval. Once authorized, complete all required repairs;
• Maintain CSI/TSI ratings equal to or higher than zone averages;
• Understand terminology of the automobile industry;
• Develop career skills thru regular training and instruction;

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Attention to Detail
• Must have prior automotive background experience
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record;
• Must pass drug screen and background check
• Experience with electronic dispatch is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
