Job description
A fast growing, NY based asset manager is looking to add an AVP/VP of Alternatives and Non-Core Specialty Investments. This role reports directly to the Head of Alternatives and sits on small investment team managing $25bn aum.
An ideal candidate will have the following:
Qualifications:
- 8-15 years of work experience in an institutional investment role
- 3-5 years experience within an insurance company investment general account (preferred)
- Experience leading/co-leading implementation of asset class or investment strategy
Responsibilities:
- Ongoing monitoring of existing managers and investments
- Portfolio management and construction
- Investment due-diligence
- Strategic pipeline development
