Role: Backup Resource
Duration: 14 months
Location:- CARLSTADT, NJ (ONSITE)
Must have Skills: Data Domain, NetBackup, ProtectPoint (Storage Direct)
Requirements:
100% Onsite (No exceptions, No remote options) - CARLSTADT, New Jersey 07072
Project Tasks:
- Day to day operational tasks/activities
- Review backup processes and policies (incident, capacity, performance and change management, user and backup policy)
- System monitoring (system alerts, system logs, optimization etc.)
- General troubleshooting/optimization
- Open and support all Dell support tickets, take the lead to work with support to resolve any issues
- Continuously monitor, review, and manage backup environment to identify areas of improvement following Dell EMC best practices
- Share best practice methodologies throughout the residency assignment
- Resident will be self-directed, able to accomplish tasks with little to no direction
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Carlstadt, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Datadomain: 1 year (Preferred)
