UBS aims to modernize the Banking capabilities of UBS Bank USA, by delivering a more holistic, full-service Digital offering to our clients. Building on its already high-performing Bank and strong net promoter scores with digitally led and high touch capabilities, UBS will further align to the our client promise – personalized, relevant, on-time, and seamless services.
- Lead and train staff members regarding Payments, across an array of schemes
- Develop and define the Payments Operations model, supporting the digital bank
- Support tactical and strategic programs supporting the organization, while maintaining operational objectives
- Build/Review requirement documentation, identify key milestones, create test plans, and develop appropriate measurement tools for monitoring output results
- Applicant must be able to analyze potential defects and engage cross-functional teams to solution and mitigate future risks
- Provide oversight of: inbound and outbound payment and investigations traffic
- Maintain operational general and sub-ledgers, performing appropriate reconciliation functions
- Support internal and external audits
- Prepare and execute as applicable, reporting requirements
- Execute internal controls related to assigned areas and tasks
- Assist with further structuring the Learning and Development infrastructure
- Foster ongoing engagement with key stakeholders to support business and customer journeys

Your expertise
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or, equivalent work experience required
- 3-5+ years of payments experience in a high-volume environment
- Obtain/Maintain required Payments Industry certifications
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of Payment messaging formats (MT, ISO20022, XML)
- Hands-on experience in maintaining, troubleshooting and testing Payment products: SWIFT/ISO, FED (Wire, ACH, Check21), TCH (CHIPS, EPN, SVPCo, RTP), etc.
- Self-motivated individual with lean, innovative thought leadership methodologies to drive ongoing enhancements
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstration of keen analytical/problem-solving skills
- Robust communication skills: written, verbal, visual presentations, and effective listening skills
- Ability to be cross-fungible and multi-task under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
