Description
Core Job Responsibilities
- Plan and lead daily enrichment clubs and/or tutoring sessions
- Provide a safe, positive learning environment with fun, educational activities for students
- Prepare lesson plans that meet program requirements
- Show up on time and ready to teach
- Provide clubs for all elementary age levels attending program
- Meet program deadlines
- Attend all scheduled meetings
- Complete all required training
- Collect and report on student data pertaining to afterschool activities
- Help promote BEACON Afterschool Program and student achievements
- Maintain organized workspace
- Assist with Family Events as requested

Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively as needed
- Follow-through with commitment to program schedule for the whole school year
- Ability to meet the needs of students as individuals
- Enjoys working with middle school-aged students
- High School Diploma or GED required
