Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Assist in the administration of the company Benefit programs.

  • Responsible for employee Benefit communications, ensuring all Rabobankers’ Benefit offerings and information is available and accessible.

  • Responsible for Leave of Absence administration.

  • Coordinate responses to general Benefit inquiries to ensure employee Benefit self-service is efficient and navigable.

  • Support administration of the 401(k) Plans.

  • Report and manage Worker’s Compensation claims.

  • Evaluate requests for accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

  • Ensure Benefit accuracy for Payroll.

  • Prepares Payroll-related documents and compile data from payroll sources.

  • Oversee the maintenance of current employee data as it relates to benefits management and payroll processing.

  • Provide support to ensure payroll is processed in an accurate, compliant and timely manner.

  • Prepare relevant Payroll and Benefit reporting.

  • Provide guidance to employees on policies and procedures related to Benefits provided and Payroll issued by Rabobank North America.

  • Handle sensitive employee situations in a confidential, trustworthy, and professional manner.

  • Coordinates with internal stakeholders to ensure Benefits and Payroll are provided in accordance with Rabo values of respect and consistency.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Risk Management:

  • Complete all mandatory training

  • Comply with code of conduct and Bank policies/ procedures

  • Actively identify incidents outside of established policies and procedures and report to management immediately

  • Must be familiar with and comply with laws, regulations and internal policies and procedures that are applicable to required job duties.

  • Understands and complies with all Rabobank anti-money laundering, compliance, and all other applicable laws.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in corporate Benefit administration required including proven competency in making administrative decisions as well as basic knowledge of labor law and related regulations.

  • Computer proficiency with MS Word and Excel, Outlook and Internet required.

  • Prior experience or knowledge of payroll administration, Workday and/or ADP Workforce Now is a plus.

  • Research, writing and communications skills are essential.

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and work efficiently and effectively, independently at times. Effective time management and organizational skills required.

  • Exhibits high degree of professionalism and confidentiality in handling and having access to sensitive employee information. This position requires the use of tact, discretion and good judgment.
