Job Summary


Oldcastle APG is looking for a BI Analyst with strong and proven experience in Business Intelligence & Analytics, especially in the Manufacturing and Supply Chain domains. As the BI Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing requirements, performing data analysis, and working with the BI Core team to continuously deliver value.


Responsibilities


  • Responsible for analyzing the requirements by working directly with the Product owners and Business users, and translating the Business requirements to technical details for the development team
  • Perform data analysis and document any data issues & gaps
  • Designing and creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide insights and information to Business Stakeholders
  • Ensure data is accurate, complete, and up to date by helping implement data quality controls and validation procedures
  • Create and execute test cases for validating datasets and reports in Tableau
  • Examine data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can help businesses make informed decisions
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in BI & Analytics features, design, and high-level architecture to apply best practices across BI processes
  • Develop and maintain solid understanding of the building materials industry
  • Staying up to date with new BI Tools, techniques, and trends to ensure Team is using most effective tools for data analysis


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business administration or related field is required
  • 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics space
  • 1+ years of experience in Manufacturing and Supply chain domain
  • Working knowledge of an ERP system, Infor preferred
  • Good understanding of Data warehouse and BI concepts
  • Strong Data analysis skills, strong in PL/SQL
  • Experience with Tableau or similar BI reporting tools
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
  • Working knowledge of Jira preferred
  • Snowflake experience preferred
