Quanex is looking for a HR Generalist - Bilingual to join our team in Ankeny, Iowa. The Human Resources Generalist will provide proactive Human Resources support and play a key role in supporting HR initiatives including employee and labor relations, recruiting and onboarding, performance management, compliance and employee communication. The successful candidate must be bilingual and serve as the point of contact to provide day to day guidance to employees and front line supervisors on talent acquisition, coaching, employee training, and employee relations.

What’s Expected of the Bilingual HR Generalist?

• Ensure the consistent application of established human resources policies throughout the company
• Assist with the administration the wage and salary policies
• Ensure all employees are treated fairly in accordance with the company’s policies and appropriate laws and regulations
• Assist and advises supervisors and managers regarding employee discipline and termination
• Recruit qualified job applicants by exploring all possible techniques
• Interview candidates for referral to supervisors or managers responsible for final selection
• Facilitates employee onboarding

Overnight Travel is required between Ankeny, Iowa & Winnebago, IL

We are Looking for a Candidate that Has:

• Degree in a related field of study
• 3-5 years of human resources experienceKnowledge of employment law, compensation, benefits, and employee selection procedures

• Administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle multiple and varied projects

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
