Position Summary
Hopkins | Lacy is searching for a dynamic BIM Coordinator to join our Engineer Department. The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for managing BIM and Engineering related projects. The position entails the use of REVITĀ® and/or AutoCAD in the production of shop drawings for commercial and institutional projects, both new construction and renovations.
The best-fit candidate will have at least 5 years experience and must have experience with Revit & Navisworks and the coordination of building systems. Should your skills be a match, someone will be in touch soon! Duties/Responsibilities
Software
Aid in the implementation of supporting software for BIM
Aid in the evaluation of new BIM related software and technologies
Stay informed on best practices for use of REVIT and BIM

Standards
Aid in the development, implementation, and enforcement of BIM standards
Provide support for plotting and electronic file submissions
Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all shop drawings produced
Assist in developing and enforcing BIM documentation and workflow process standards Duties/Responsibilities Cont.
Provide software support related to BIM production
Troubleshoot problems

Training
Maintain high level of competency of software through continued use and training
Attend conferences, seminars, and workshops for BIM; bringing back, learning, and disseminating the information to appropriate teams. Qualifications
5+ years production experience in design, drafting, or engineering, including 2+years coordination of building systems
Must have experience with Autodesk products: REVIT, Navisworks, AutoCAD
Must have an in-depth working knowledge of current BIM versions with emphasis on project sheet setup
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals.
Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance
Must possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others
Must have basic PC experience in Windows environments, working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, Web-enabled applications, and database software Competencies Customer Service Delivering High Quality Work Developing Plans Displaying Technical Expertise Using Computers and Technology Travel
