Details for Brake Press Supervisor position:
- Full-Time
- Temp-to-Hire
- $25-$35/hr
- Monday-Thursday, 6am-3pm, Fridays 6am-Noon
- 40 plus hours per week
Job Duties:
- Job responsibilities include oversight of nine CNC press brakes
- Development of a production plans with the production coordinator
- Setup of the press brakes as needed
- Provide assistance to other operators in the department looking for advice with setups, provide knowledge and training for employees looking to gain setup experience and move from an operator to a setup operator
- Operate machines and other duties as needed
Can you see yourself in this Brake Press Supervisor position?
- 5+ years setup press brake experience
- Ability to determine proper dies, setups of dies, setup of gauges, and adjustment of ram stroke to from all types of parts and proper angle and length without the use of work instruction
- Experience with step forming radii
- Ability to determine forming sequence of multiple hit parts with and without the use of work instruction.
- Must be able to accurately read and interpret blue prints
- Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions
- Must possess good communication, problem solving and organizational skills
- Capable of bending, twisting, squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods of time while performing physically demanding repetitive job tasks
- Capable of lifting randomly sized items up to 60 pounds.
