Responsibilities
- Assists in the coordination of budgeting functions, analysis, and preparation of the annual budget
- Forecasts monthly operational goals
- Supports the Operations team by updating budgets as needed
- Assists in the review & evaluation of cost report tentative settlements, rate reviews, final settlements, and audit adjustments
- Models various operational scenarios to understand related reimbursement impacts
- Provides information for Medicare/Medicaid cost reporting and audits
- Keeps up to date on each state’s reimbursement requirements to ensure optimal reimbursement
- Performs special projects and duties related to reimbursement, budgets, research, and forecasting as assigned
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) or Management Reporter is preferred but not required
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet project deadlines
- Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Willingness to work in a team environment
