Job description

We are currently seeking long term Substitute Teachers/Floaters to work within a college preparatory school in the Fairfield County area to finish out the school year and potentially continue on to the following school year. Hours are Monday through Thursday 7:00am - 3:00pm and Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm. Interesed candidates must be FULLY vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carrying out the professional duties of a classroom teacher
• Managing classroom behavior
• Interpreting lesson plans
• Adhering to school policies and School Professionals policies
• Possessing a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
• Reporting for scheduled work reliably and punctually
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and supportive classroom environment

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• The ability to provide 2 professional references
• Stong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to submit to fingerpinting
