Leidos is seeking a talented Business Analyst Intern, located in Windsor Mill, MD. The Leidos team currently supports the Social Security Administration (SSA) in design, development, and testing of the Enterprise Middleware for Electronic Submissions system which is a Java / Spring Boot based API which is used by a number of other SSA enterprise applications to request and coordinate the upload of various types of documents from the general public (e.g. forms, documents, pay stubs, etc.). The candidate should possess a strong working understanding of requirement gathering, technical documentation and supporting as an analyst on Agile teams. The candidate must be able to pass a Federal Suitability Check for a position of public trust.

This experience is the foundation a candidate needs to be successful in this position:

• Understanding of the business analyst principles and working understanding of Agile processes.
• Work with customer to define and document business/technical requirements, user stories, processes, and workflows.
• Work closely with other Bas, Developers, Testers, and Production support through each stage of the software dev lifecycle.
• Understanding of Agile techniques for requirements elicitation, software testing, QA process and writing technical documentation

Education & Qualifications

• Master’s degree and 5+ years of experience in a training-related field or bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in a training-related field
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust
