Requirements
What We’re Looking For
An analyst with 2+ years of hands-on experience performing data analysis. You’re driven by making data-driven decisions, turning data into insights, and driving optimizations in digital products and funnels by finding insights and opportunities in the data. You’re curious, proactive and you want to own your projects, voice your ideas, and see them come to life. You’re comfortable working directly with senior leadership. If you’re experienced with SQL and have worked for an internet start-up, that’s a plus.
As a Business Analyst, you will:
- Be a partner in data-driven decision making, product roadmaps and strategic business planning
- Leverage data to understand how our users interact with our product - and how they can achieve greater success
- Plan and perform A/B tests, and help gain useful recommendations based on their analysis
- Identify opportunities in our business and product and propose solutions that help meet KPIs
- Partner with multiple functions within Waldo, including Product, Marketing, Operations, and Engineering
- Improve access and visibility to our data by data visualizations - using various BI tools (internal and external)
- Design and drive reporting of business results
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Technically savvy - you are fluent with Google Analytics, HotJar, and other tools for tracking and analytics, and you have a love for spreadsheets
- Excellent quantitative skills
- Problem solver - you confidently take on new problems, thinking critically and looking for creative solutions while remaining self-aware of your limits and asking for help when needed
- World-class work ethic - you are driven and self-motivated, relish getting through your prioritized tasks, while always seeking ways to additional value
- Solid time management and prioritization skills - you’re able to handle multiple tasks and initiatives at the same time, quickly switching context, as needed
- You genuinely love helping others succeed and strongly believe in the value of our product
