A role you will love

The Business Negotiations Consultant is responsible for document review and relationship building with customers. Summarizing requirements and presenting transactions for approval. Close transaction and with account management on boarding teams.

Some of your key responsibilities may include:

  • Review deal documents and actively participate in or manage deal negotiations and risk mitigation of complex securitization, mortgage portfolio and/or servicing administration sales with investment banks, finance companies, mortgage companies, law firms, rating agencies and credit providers.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention by facilitating the resolution of moderately complex technical problems or general account service issues.
  • Typically, will have accountability for reviewing drafts of documents and making recommendations on deal terms, document language, pricing, etc; however, may not have direct authority to sign deal documents. Independently complete various research and process definition projects.
  • Minimal interaction with sales force to provide process expertise for certain sales calls, meetings and presentations as needed.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: negotiation, communication, production or general office environment demonstrated through work or in lieu of military experience
  • Ability to read, understand and negotiate custodial agreements and other transactional agreements
  • Proficient with Word and Excel
  • Internal interaction with Sales, Relationship Management Teams, and Operations
  • External interaction with attorneys and client partners, which may include very senior positions
  • Ability to resolve customer issues and provide solutions
  • Complete special projects as assigned
  • Ability to organize multiple deal closing simultaneously
  • Ability to discuss new custody opportunities with clients to fully understand their wants and needs and ask “drill-down” questions.
  • Experience in one or a combination of the following: capital markets, corporate trust, contracts, financial services, or business development
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Driven to produce the highest quality work product

Compensation. $59,200- $88,500
