Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist with the collection of outstanding private pay receivable balances
- Verify completion of admissions forms, contracts, and discharge of residents.
- Address resident billing questions..
- Prepare and deliver bank deposits.
- Follow up on Medicaid applications/benefits for residents.
- Maintain accounts payable ledger and ensure all accounts payable are entered into the system in a timely manner.
- Maintain and track ancillary charges and submit to corporate in a timely manner.
- Comply and prepare data/reports as required by corporate staff related to business office functions.
- Maintain resident trust accounts.
- Understand and demonstrate knowledge of and respect for the rights, dignity and individuality of residents in interactions.
- Demonstrate honesty and integrity in the care and use of resident and campus property.
We are looking for candidates that have the following:
Knowledge of medical billing/collections practices, computer programs used for billing, and business office procedures
The desire to provide the highest level of patient care
