Our guests’ memorable experiences have to start somewhere. So why not with you? We’re looking for a new Busser/Runner to take ownership of delivering exceptional first impressions and ensuring prompt service of meals to guests.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

• Assist the wait staff in the service of food in accordance with the established standards.
• Set up station in the kitchen.
• Pre-bus tables
• Polishing of glassware and silverware
• Assist servers in bussing tables, and pouring drinks as needed
• Maintain outside patio, removal of outside heaters and replacement of propane tanks
• Maintain the orderly upkeep of coolers and storage areas.
• Assist with unloading of inventory as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of expo lines.
• Assist in table set up and cleaning when required. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant in all areas.
• Swapping of plates per service, along with condiments and garnishes needed.
• Preparation of limes, lemons and other food items used by servers for food service.
• May assist with other duties as needed, such as welcoming, greeting and seating guests, counting and exchanging soiled linen, polishing glassware or silverware, etc.

What We need from you:

High School diploma or equivalent, plus some prior food service experience preferred. Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.

What you can expect from us:

The hourly pay rate for this role is $17.10. This rate is only applicable for jobs to be performed at InterContinental San Diego.
