The Headlines :
In the role of Retail Buying Coordinator in Milwaukee, WI, you will be part of the Guest Relations Team. You will enhance the retail experience at the Miller Brewery Shop and our Employee Beer Sales store, through creative sourcing and buying of merchandise, build strong relationships with vendors and brand teams, and apply effective retail strategies to achieve profit targets.

This position reports to Guest Relations Retail Supervisor and works closely with our Inventory Coordinator, Employee Beer Sales Coordinator, and eCommerce team.

The Responsibilities:

  • Source and order merchandise for the Miller Brewery Shop, Employee Beer Sales store, Summerfest store, annual Distributor Convention, as well as various internal/external customers as needed.
  • Develop strong vendor relationships to procure quality merchandise at optimal pricing.
  • Drive ordering process from logo approval to in-hand delivery and collaborate with Inventory Coordinator on quality control, inventory levels and reorders.
  • Assist in coordination of off-site retail special events, creative merchandise ordering and exemplary customer service/sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with brand teams and the eCommerce Buyer to meet strategic brand initiatives.
  • Assist Retail Supervisor in leadership of retail staff - including but not limited to new-hire training, uniform procurement and distribution, strategic verbal and written communications, goal setting, retail reporting, etc.

The Other Qualifications:

  • You have 2-3 years Retail Buying experience.
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your
understanding of the business priorities.
  • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome.
