Do you enjoy working in a kitchen? Would you like to provide meals to kids in YMCA programs? The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a Camp Cook to join our team.

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading non-profit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
As a Camp Cook, you will assist in all camp food services for camp staff and guests. You will work alongside the full-time kitchen team to help with food prep, lunch packing, dishwashing and maintaining overall cleanliness of the kitchen. This is a crucial role in providing delicious and healthy camp meals in a highly organized manner.

• You have a current food handler’s certificate.

• You want to help provide meals to kids.
• You are able to learn and practice safe and correct operation of kitchen equipment.
• Able and willing to complete Child Abuse Prevention training and other online or in-person training as required.

Wage: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on qualifications.
Hours: Part Time up to 25 hours per week
