We are looking for uplifting and engaging people who have a passion for working with children to join our team of counselors at Camp . The right candidates will have an inclination towards outdoor adventures and will be responsible for facilitating fun activities, providing a nurturing environment and ensuring the safety of all campers.

Responsibilities:

• Be reliable and dependable.
• Be able to direct the activities of children and youth.
• Have leadership skills.
• Be physically fit and healthy enough to participate in fun and physical activities with campers.
• Know your camp's policies, procedures and rules, as well as applicable national guidelines and standards.
• Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Organize team games such as soccer, softball and basketball, explaining the rules and acting as referee or umpire throughout the game
• Lead activities such as crafts and art, demonstrating various techniques and encouraging children to come up with ideas
• Effectively communicate with parents, providing updates where required and checking on children with medical needs to ensure they have taken any required medication

Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Flexible in challenging situations
• Successfully complete a background check

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
