EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


  • B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum three years of experience in heavy industrial equipment design, including project engineering.
  • Experience with scheduling and monitoring project progress.
  • Demonstrated project engineering abilities (equipment layouts, equipment specifications, vendor communication, quality, customer satisfaction).
  • Must be skilled in the use of Microsoft Office 365 including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Teams and AutoCAD
  • Experience with MS Project or other scheduling tools a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and Ability to work in a team environment are required.
  • Self-directed, ability to prioritize work, stay on schedule, and perform multiple tasks for different projects at a time.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES


Major responsibilities are listed but not necessarily limited to the following duties.


  • Plan and carry-out engineering activities for system designs.
  • Creating and maintaining engineering documents such as specifications, equipment and drawing lists, and O&M documentation.
  • Coordination of different engineering disciplines in project.
  • Coordinate drawing checking and revisions internal and external.
  • Perform calculations as required
  • Prepare requisitions with required drawing and specification packages for purchases.
  • Follow up project schedules and manage timely deliveries.
  • Communicate & coordinate as required with equipment supply vendors throughout project.
  • Participate supplier control activities for schedule & quality compliance.
  • Work through project issues while maintaining positive relationships with customers.

This position may require some amount of travel domestically and internationally (15-20%)
