Job description

We are looking for a full time skilled GM certified Auto Technician's to maintain and repair vehicles. You will be responsible for diagnosing concerns and fixing them right the first time! Must be well-versed in complex mechanical and electrical systems of GM vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle engine, mechanical and electrical components.
• Diagnose customer concerns quickly and accurately.
• Conduct routine maintenance work.
• Perform multipoint vehicle inspections and convey to the service adviser’s vehicle concerns that need to be addressed to keep our customer's vehicles running in tip top factory operating conditions.
• Provide accurate estimates (parts cost, labor) for a repair or maintenance.
• Document clearly, on repair orders, the cause and correction of customer concerns.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
• Keep clean, safe, and well-maintained work areas.
• Follow company policies and guidelines.
• Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.

Skills

• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles
• Working knowledge of GM vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
• Diagnose engine concerns.
• Diagnose electrical concerns.
• Wheel alignment
• Transmission experience a plus
• Diesel experience a plus.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship (Preferred).
• GM training (Preferred).

Certifications/ Licenses

· Must possess a valid driver’s license.

· Pa. state inspection license (preferred)

· ASE certifications (preferred)
