Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)

Our community has an opportunity for a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM). The CDM will:
  • Plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department
  • Ensure quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis
  • Ensure the dietary department is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
  • Manage the requisitions and inspection of food, supplies, and equipment, maintain stock levels
  • Ensure standards of quality are met while achieving the department budgetary, recruiting, training, supervising
  • Manage dietary staff to ensure effective and efficient department operations

Qualifications:
  • Must hold or acquire Certifications as a Dietary Manager (CDM)
  • An Associates degree in Food Service Management or Nutrition (DT or DTR) or a 4-year degree in Nutrition or similar area preferred
  • At least one year of experience in a management role
  • Able to relate professionally and positively to our customers and families and to work cooperatively with others
  • We are a vaccinated care facility. New hires will need to provide proof of vaccination or other acceptable documents prior to starting employment
