Job Summary
Milestone Health Partners of Williston is growing and seeking to add a full-time occupational therapy assistant to work under the supervision of our occupational therapist and be a part of a multidisciplinary team. The position is focused on an individual who enjoys working with children with diagnoses such as autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, learning disabilities and other developmental disabilities, utilizing a variety of intervention approaches, including Sensory Integration, Neurodevelopmental Treatment, and functional and purposeful play. The position is open to a therapist who enjoys working with the adult population as well focusing on orthopedic impairments of the upper extremity and deficits with activities of daily living. Duties and Responsibilities
- Administers occupational therapy treatment according to the plan of care established by the Occupational Therapist.
- Implements individualized treatment plan with consideration to the patient's physical, social, spiritual, cultural, educational and age specific needs.
- Provides skilled treatment in a safe manner.
- Monitors ongoing effectiveness of treatment and collaborates with Occupational Therapist in modifying the plan of care when indicated.
- Consults with appropriate team members regarding patient’s continuity of care and treatment plan
- Writes daily notes documenting progress in treatment
- Participates in treatment team, staff, and professional meetings
- Works collaboratively with other disciplines

Requirements and Qualifications
- Must have graduated from an Occupational Therapy Assistant program accredited by the AOTA
- Must possess a current North Dakota Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
- Previous experience as an Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Compassionate and sensitive to patients’ needs and concerns
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
