ABITEC Corporation in Janesville, WI is seeking to fill a position for a Chemical Operator Trainee. This is a 3-5 year career track position to become fullyskilled as a Chemical Operator. Extensive on-the-job training ensures you will become familiar with your duties and perform them independently.

REQUIRED SKILLS
The successful candidate must be able to:
· Demonstrate basic math, comprehension, mechanical aptitude, and computer skills.
· Able to work 8 and 12 hour schedules (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift) which may include weekends and overtime
· Operate a fork truck and pass certification testing
· Manually handle drums, pails, boxes and bags in a safe and efficient manner
· Physically able to work in full PPE including the use of an SCBA
· Follow written work instructions
· Work independently with limited supervision handling potentially hazardous materials
This position offers a competitive starting wage ($20.81) with increases to $30.00 / hour when fully trained. Full benefits after qualification period.
