We are currently seeking professional and energetic Teachers for this location. Our Teachers are responsible for general classroom management and supervision, which includes the personal care, hygiene, and positive discipline of the children. As a Teacher, you will prepare and implement activities for children that stress physical, social, and emotional growth and provide materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate, and use, both in learning activities and in active play.

Minimum Qualifications

• Highly professional and dependable
• Desire to work with children
• PA Criminal background check, Child Abuse clearance, FBI clearance and NSOR clearance required
• Classroom teaching experience in an accredited early childhood facility a plus

Essential Functions

• Attends and participates in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings, as requested.
• Assists and supervises children during all activities.
• Counsels’ children when social, academic, or adjustment problems arise.
• Helps create and implement classroom lesson plans, program, and schedule.
• Assists children with mealtimes and clean-up.
• Assists children with potty-training and bathroom use.
• Maintains DHS regulations as well as Keystone STARS and NAEYC standards in the classroom.
• Communicates appropriate information to parents; maintains developmental profiles for children.
