Cambridge International Systems, Inc. has a full-time CISCO Network Engineer-Senior Advisor opportunity available based in Doral, FL. Qualified candidates for this job must possess a current DoD secret security clearance. This role requires candidates to be on-site for work.

ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES

The USSOUTHCOM Communications Suite services approximately 3000 users. Execute all tasks required to install and configure the USSOUTHCOM Communications Suite as part of USSOUTHCOM’s CISCO Unified Communications Upgrade to (version 14) ensuring full STIG compliance. Validate IP Plan; migrate the existing dial plan with any identified efficiencies. The communications suite consists of the CISCO Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), IM and Presence (IM&P), CCISO Unity Server (CUC), CISCO Emergency Responder (CER), CISCO Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX), and CISCO Finesse. Provide ongoing operations, maintenance, and security infrastructure/security support to upgraded systems. Support the transition from time division multiplexing (TDM) to Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) commercial circuits.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS Degree (relevant experience can be considered in lieu of degree).
  • IAT level II Compliant certification (i.e. Security+ CE, SSCP etc). Full list here of IAT level II compliant certs: https://public.cyber.mil/cw/cwmp/dod-approved-8570-baseline- certifications/
  • Candidate must possess CCNA Collaboration
  • Candidate must have 8+ years’ experience with collaboration systems.
  • Must have experience with the following appliances:
  • CISCO Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
  • IM and Presence (IM&P)
  • CCISO Unity Server (CUC)
  • CISCO Emergency Responder (CER)
  • CISCO Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX)

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preference for candidates with CCNP Collaboration or CCIE Collaboration.
  • Candidate with 12+ years’ experience with collaboration systems

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS

Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • In rare occasions, overnight travel may be required.
