Qualifications
Candidate will have a BSCE Registration and a minimum of ten (10) years of engineering design and management experience.
Candidate for this position must demonstrate strong independent thought and decision-making abilities; possess demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills; exhibit management ability; be adept in establishing and maintaining strong and positive working relationships with clients/public-agency personnel and in-house staff.
Candidate’s managerial experience shall also include the following: supervision of engineering design teams; management of project schedules and budgets; preparation of contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work; significant experience in preparation of contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work; significant experience in client and public-agency interactions.
Candidate’s technical experience may include the following: preliminary engineering design studies (assessment and consideration of site constraints, and potential regulatory issues), preparation/processing of tentative and final subdivision maps, preparation/processing of public improvement plans for public agencies and/or development plans for commercial and residential developments, and the preparation and review of attendant hydrologic studies and drainage reports.
The Candidate must be experienced in CAD Design applications as they relate to engineering design.
