Clerk - Central Office BuildingDays: School Year (per Secretary/Clerk contract) Hours: 32.5 hours per week 8am-3:00 pm. Start Date: August 1, 2023Skills: Knowledge of general office proceduresAbility to provide information to and work collaboratively with students, parents, and school employees. Experience working within a school environmentComputer Skills: Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Munis experience preferred, RecDesk experience preferred, social media platformsResponsibilities: Food Service: Collect all lunch deposits from all schools daily. Balance all money from each school against the Point Of Sales reports and make daily deposits to the bank.Process and File necessary annual and monthly reports for the DESE and the Dept. of Revenue. Process payroll for Food Service and Community Schools employees Process and track sick, personal, and vacation time and process payroll reports for all Food Service employees. Create lunch order sheets for elementary schools weekly, by using menu choices and class rosters and deliver to the schools by Thursday of the prior week.
Stamp and process all invoices received on a daily basis from all deliveries and vendors. Create invoices for all catered events and bill appropriate customers. Maintain record of payments. Lynnfield Community Schools: Process and reconcile the monthly credit card statements for Food Service and Community Schools Process check payments with the Town Treasurer's office Order craft and office supplies Create program registrations using RecDesk Communicate with the schools by sending school rosters and daily dismissal changes Answer questions and communicate with parents about before and after school programsSupport and assist the onsite extended day school staff, students and programs
