General Description: The Client Services Representative will support the client management and communications with schools and other Project Adventure clients. The individual will conduct initial program intakes by phone and email, complete data entry, schedule meetings, create and process client documents, update internal project management tools and contribute to special projects focused on improving systems that ensure a positive experience for our clients and partners. The Client Services Representative must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and readiness to effectively learn and use the client management database and other internal systems. The individual must be self-sufficient, skilled in managing a variety of deliverables and work well in a collaborative environment both in person and remotely, as needed. This position is an important part of a dynamic team working together to support students, teachers, and others in developing strong bonds and new social-emotional skills, on the challenge course and beyond.
Responsibilities Include:
- Respond to phone and email inquiries to Project Adventure’s general line/inbox and directing/scheduling next point of contact for programs and services
- Use Project Adventure’s Client Relationship Management (CRM) software, calendars and other internal systems to maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities
- Collaborate with Client Services team and other departments to fulfill client inquiries and develop external resources
- Develop, send and process the return of proposals, contracts and other professional documents representing sale of services with attention to detail and deadlines
- Contribute to special projects related to client experience and the improvement of project management and operations
- Meet regularly with Client Services team to analyze sales process, identify upcoming budget goals and seek/provide support for team members
- Learn the Project Adventure mission, demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and growth, and attend one Project Adventure workshop per year.
- Perform other tasks as determined necessary by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliverables.
- Ability to work with clients and internal staff to find creative and realistic solutions to meet a wide variety of client programmatic and budgetary needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both for internal and external relationships.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Microsoft CRM database experience is helpful but not required.
- Ability to engage collaboratively within the Client Services Team and across departments.
